Pursuant to Maine Revised Statutes Title 22, § 4305, the Town of Northport will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, after 6:15pm at Northport Town Office, 16 Beech Hill Road, to consider the adoption of new maximum allowances for 2026-2027 under the Town’s General Assistance ordinance. A copy of the proposed new maximums is available at Town Office and on the Town website.
All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about the proposed revised ordinance and new maximums are invited to attend the Public Hearing. Written comments may also be submitted to administrator@northportmaine.org or Select Board, 16 Beech Hill Road, Northport, ME 04849, at any time prior to the Public Hearing.
