Due to the federal government shut down and the possible loss of SNAP benefits on November 1st, we want to make sure that our residents know that help is available.
Whether you are in need of help, or want to help, there are services available.
If you are in need, please reach out to one of these services.
If you would like to donate time, money or food, please reach out to one of them as well, as they need all the help that they can get during these difficult times.
The Town of Northport has the Northport Needy Family Fund that is here to help in times of need. Please reach out to Administrator James Kossuth for more information.
There are several local area food pantries, including our very own Northport Food Pantry, that is here to help neighbors in need.
Attached is a list of local food pantries.
