If you are currently a Senior in high school and plan to attend college in the Fall of 2026, don’t forget to apply for the Northport Citizens Scholarship. The deadline to apply is May 16th. If you need an application, stop by the town office or email bookkeeper@northportmaine.org and I will send you one. Don’t pass up this opportunity of up to $500.00 towards your Spring, 2027 tuition bill.
Upcoming Election and Town Meeting Information:
Annual Town Meeting will be held at the Edna Drinkwater School, 56 Bayside Road, Northport on Monday June 15, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
Absentee Ballots for the June 9, 2026 Town Election and State Primary Election are available at the Town Office, 16 Beech Hill Road, Northport.
Office Hours
Tuesday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 Noon
Municipal Election and State Primary Election – Tuesday June 9, 2026
POLLS WILL BE OPEN FROM 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Town Office.
Town Positions to be voted on are:
One Select Board Member for a 3 Year Term
One Select Board Member for a 1 Year Term
One School Board Member for a 3 Year Term
If you are in need of a ballot and are unable to pick one up in person you may request one by calling the office at 338-3819.
In Person Absentee Voting is available until June 4, 2026.
If you have not registered to vote yet, it’s not to late to do so.
When you come to register to vote, bring a Photo I.D. with you and something showing your current physical address as proof of residency.
The Voter Registrar is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
