Application for the Northport Citizens Scholarship is now available
The application for the Northport Citizens Scholarship is now available at the Town Office and at the high school guidance offices.
The Northport Citizens Scholarship if available to all Northport students who attend and graduate from an accredited high school and will be attending college in the Fall of the year that they graduate. They must successfully complete their Freshman Fall semester and plan to attend the Spring semester. Payment will be made after the town receives proof that the student will be attending the Spring semester and will be made directly to the school.

NOMINATION PAPERS AVAILABLE
Nomination Papers are available at the Town Office at 16 Beech Hill Road, Northport, Maine, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, for the following positions: 1 Municipal Officer/Overseer (3 year term); 1 School Committee Member (3 year term); 1 Road Commissioner (2 year term).
All nomination papers must be returned to the Town Office for signature certification no later than Noon on Thursday, April 20, 2023/
Planning Board to hold workshop on Subdivision Ordinance
The Planning Board will being holding a workshop on March 21, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m., as they continue to review the Subdivision Ordinance. Any changes that they recommend will not go into affect until they have been voted on at a Town Meeting. The meetings are always open to the public.
Second tax payment due March 1st:
The second tax payment of the 2022/2023 real and personal property taxes is due March 1, 2023 and interest on this portion will begin accruing on March 2, 2023. Please contact the office if you have any questions regarding your taxes
