The Town of Northport is accepting bids for the disposal of Municipal Solid Waste, Winter Clean Up and Mowing, Cemetery Maintenance and Heating Fuel. Spec sheets may be obtained at the Town Office or below. Sealed bids must be received at the Northport Town Office, 16 Beech Hill Road, Northport, ME, 04849, by NOON on Friday, February 21, 2025. The bids will be awarded at the Select Board meeting on Monday, February 24, 2025, after 6:15 pm at the Town Office. The successful applicant will provide a copy of general liability and worker’s compensation insurance prior to beginning work. The Select Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

Second tax payment due March 1, 2025:
The second tax payment of the 2023=4/2025 real and personal property taxes is due on March 1, 2025 and interest will began accruing on March 2, 2025. Please contact the office if you have any questions regarding your taxes
DOG LICENSES ARE DUE – ADDITIONAL $75.00 LATE PAYMENT FEE STARTING FEBRUARY 1, 2025
All dogs, six months old and older, must be licensed every year. Dogs not licensed by January 31, 2025 will incur a minimum late fee of $75.00, per our Animal Control Ordinance that was approved by the voters at the Annual Town Meeting in June, 2022.
