Community Development Block Grant Public Hearing

The Town of Northport will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, May 4, 2026, after 6:15pm, at the Northport Town Office, 16 Beech Hill Road, to discuss an application being submitted to the State of Maine CDBG program for an Economic Development CDBG Grant. The purpose of the grant is for gap financing for equipment purchases and low- to moderate-income job creation at Atlantic Blanket Company DBA Swans Island Company. Public comments will be solicited at this Hearing and will be submitted as part of the application’s required documentation.

All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about the proposal are invited to attend this Public Hearing. Comments may be submitted in writing to: James Kossuth, Town Administrator, Town of Northport, 16 Beech Hill Rd., Northport, ME 04849 or via email at administrator@northportmaine.org at any time prior to the Public Hearing.
