Public Hearing

Pursuant to Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A, § 4356, the Town of Northport will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, after 6:15pm at the Edna Drinkwater School, 56 Bayside Road, to consider the extension for 180 days of the moratorium adopted at the Town Meeting on June 15, 2026. A copy of the moratorium is available at Town Office and on the Town website.

All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about the moratorium extension are invited to attend the Public Hearing. Written comments may also be submitted to administrator@northportmaine.org or Select Board, 16 Beech Hill Road, Northport, ME  04849, at any time prior to the Public Hearing. If you are unable to access any of the Town’s programs or services, please call 207-338-3819 so that accommodations can be made.
