Public Hearing and Select Board Meeting

The Select Board meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6:15pm at the Town Office. Agendas are available here. Contact the Town Administrator by the Wednesday before the meeting if you wish to add an item to the agenda.

The Select Board is holding a public hearing on Monday, July 28, 2025, after 6:15pm, at the Northport Town Office, 16 Beech Hill Road, Northport, to discuss a proposed Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) for Northport. The purpose of the plan is to help the Town identify and prepare for natural hazards. Public comments will be solicited at this Hearing and will be submitted as part of the HMP approval process. A copy of the proposed HMP is available on the Town’s website here.

All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about the proposed HMP are invited to attend this Public Hearing. Comments may be submitted in writing to: James Kossuth, Town Administrator, Town of Northport, 16 Beech Hill Rd., Northport, ME 04849 or via email at administrator@northportmaine.org at any time prior to the Public Hearing. If you are physically unable to access any of the Town’s programs or services, please call James Kossuth, Town Administrator at 207-338-3819 x6, so that accommodations can be made.
